Gov. decree substantiveGovernment decree 84/2026 (IV. 17.): Amending certain provisions on the interest rate cap, the profit margin cap and the protected fuel price84/2026. (IV. 17.) Korm. rendelet – A kamatstoppal, az árrésstoppal és a védett üzemanyagárral kapcsolatos egyes rendelkezések módosításáról

In an emergency decree, the government amended the rules on the interest rate cap, the profit margin cap and the protected fuel price, according to the decree so that these measures remain in place. It deleted the "until 30 June 2026" deadline from the mortgage interest rate cap. It repealed one section each from the decrees on the profit margin cap on food and drugstore products and on excise duty on fuel. The amending text does not quote the content of the deleted sections, so we cannot be sure that each of them was an expiry deadline.
