Farmers need less paperwork if a nationwide natural disaster hits them. A call was opened for the head of the innovation office (NKFIH).
The agriculture minister's decree eases farmers' situation because of the nationwide drought. If a farmer cannot meet a condition of area-based support claimed in the single application (for example the required stocking density of at least 0.2 livestock units per hectare on grassland) because of the drought, no separate force majeure request is needed. In such cases no sanction is imposed and no ineligible participation is established. The rule must also be applied in pending cases. The decree entered into force on the day after publication.

Draft: the interior minister would amend the decree on professional service posts at law enforcement bodies because of the police reorganisation. From 1 October 2026 the Counter Terrorism Centre (TEK) and the Parliamentary Guard (except its fire protection unit) merge into the police, with TEK becoming a separate unit within it. The National Bureau of Investigation splits from the Riot Police and also continues as a separate unit. The decree adjusts the system of posts and allowances to this. The decree would enter into force on 1 October 2026; comments could be sent until 17 September 2026.

The Ministry of Science and Technology opened a call for the post of president of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH). The president is responsible for planning the research calls of the NKFI Fund and leading the office. Requirements include a higher education degree and at least 10 years of professional and 5 years of management experience in research and development, innovation or science policy. Applicants must attach a professional concept of 5–10 pages. Applications must be sent by 11:59 pm on 11 October 2026.

The Békés county government office published the draft revised air quality plan of Békéscsaba. The plan contains measures to reduce air pollution exceeding limit values; nationally, household heating is the main source of particulate matter emissions.
