Money for regional airports and pig farmers; public health screenings and farm subsidies are audited.

The government gives HUF 5.6 billion to run the Debrecen, Hévíz and Pécs airports, and an advance of HUF 4.5 billion to pig farmers. The organised screening system and the farm subsidies paid since 2010 are audited.

The government decree again allows shops to redeem pensioners' food vouchers if they missed the original deadline. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Hungarian State Treasury until 30 September 2026, which checks authenticity by serial number and security features. The Treasury pays face value: in cash to sellers without a payment account and by transfer to others. The Treasury publishes information on how to redeem on its website. The decree enters into force on the third day after publication.

The government decree amends several EU funding decrees so that the conditions for drawing EU funds are met. The EU ARACHNE+ risk scoring system must be used compulsorily and consistently in funding decisions and checks, and flagged risks must be investigated. Organisations managing funds must introduce procedures to prevent and check conflicts of interest in advance. The decree allows projects carried out from other sources to be accounted for retroactively under the Recovery and Resilience Plan. It also contains minor organisational and responsibility clarifications.

The government amends the annual development framework and list of priority projects of the EU transport development programme (IKOP Plus), mainly to develop the rail network. In the 2028–2030 budgets the finance minister must provide HUF 951.35 billion in domestic co-financing for projects for which the EU budget is not enough. If this overcommitment exceeds HUF 475 billion, the government must decide on further commitments, and new EU funds must replace the domestic money. It revokes the 2025 resolution on the EuroVelo 6 and EuroVelo 14 cycle routes, although some of their sections are on the project list.

Draft: a bill of the Ministry of Finance would promulgate the double taxation convention on income taxes between Hungary and New Zealand. The convention sets which country may tax each type of income, for example business profits, wages, dividends, interest and royalties. It lays down equal treatment, provides a mutual agreement procedure for disputes and allows full exchange of tax information. The convention follows the OECD model; comments could be sent until 15 August 2026.

At each mowing, at least 5 and at most 15 percent of the area would have to be left unmown in changing places. Those not submitting a single aid application would notify the national park directorate of the start of mowing at least five working days in advance.
