Parliament amended the vocational training act, reshaping the leadership of vocational training centres. The post of chancellor is abolished; the centre is led by the director-general, who is also responsible for the professional work of the vocational schools and lawful operation, helped by a professional deputy director-general appointed with the minister's consent. The mandates of current directors-general and chancellors end by law on 31 December 2026, and calls must be opened for director-general posts to be filled from 1 January 2027. The teaching staff may give an opinion on the management programmes in applications for school director. Most of the act enters into force on the third day after publication, and the leadership changes on 1 January 2027.

The government adjusted the implementing decree to the amendment of the vocational training act. It sets who can be director-general (a higher education degree, at least three years of management experience and three years of maintainer or administrative experience) and who can be appointed professional deputy director-general. The management programmes of applications for school director must be published on the school's website, the teaching staff may comment on them within 15 days, and if it does not support the applicant, the director-general must justify the decision. It also clarifies the rules of asset management contracts linked to this year's takeover of certain public education and cultural tasks, and ensures that scholarships paid by the legal successor remain tax-free.

Draft: under a Ministry of Finance bill, the tax authority NAV would have to separately examine the growth in wealth of MPs, political leaders and administrative state secretaries and their relatives. In this "individual risk analysis procedure", NAV compares wealth (for example flats, cars, company stakes, bank accounts) and lifestyle with taxed income, and may also examine people to whom the person concerned transferred assets. If it finds a risk, it starts a tax audit, and files a criminal complaint if it suspects a crime. NAV would publish a public list of those whose tax shortfall reaches HUF 5 million, and would also keep statistics.
