Curia decisionDecision no. Köf.5.014/2026/6. – Decision of the Municipal Council of the CuriaKöf.5.014/2026/6. számú határozat – A Kúria Önkormányzati Tanácsának határozata

At the request of the Debrecen Regional Court, the Local Government Council of the Curia found that Nyíregyháza's 2024 municipal decree imposing a building change ban was unlawful for one city-centre property (Szindbád sétány) between 30 April 2025 and 26 June 2026. Under the law, a change ban can last at most three years and cannot be imposed again on the same area, yet the city kept it in place. Therefore the provision cannot be applied in the owner's pending lawsuit. The municipality must also publish the decision.
