Draft: a new act on fully uncovering the secret service activities of the former regime and on the Historical Archives of the State Security Services, replacing the 2003 act. The so-called "six cards" on recruited informers and the non-classified data of the magnetic tapes would become available online to anyone from 20 October 2026, and the B-files and B-logs by 31 December 2026 at the latest. References to health and sexual life and personal ID numbers would not be public. Anyone unlawfully holding such documents would have to hand them over to the Archives. An 11-member advisory committee would help review classified documents, and historical research would become easier; comments could be sent until 11 July 2026.
Weight: 3/3 · partial · Draft put out for public consultation, containing only a review or a concept (comments until 11 July 2026; linked to promise E08).
Deadline: 11 July 2026 · Comments: [email protected]
